A comunidade está convidada para o Voices of Liberty, um festival musical gratuito que celebra o 250.º aniversário dos Estados Unidos da América. O evento terá lugar no domingo, 3/15/2026, na Escola Durfee High School, em Fall River.
As portas abrem à 1:00 PM e o espetáculo começa pontualmente às 2:00 PM. A organização informa que os lugares serão atribuídos por ordem de chegada, com uma capacidade limitada a cerca de 750 pessoas.
O festival contará com as atuações de cinco agrupamentos musicais, incluindo membros da Banda do Exército 215 (215th Army Band), a Banda Senhora Conceição Mosteirense, a Banda Filarmónica Santa Cecília, a Banda Santo António e a Banda da Nossa Senhora da Luz.
O encerramento será marcado por um momento histórico que reunirá todos os 156 músicos em palco para um grande final conjunto, sob a direção do comandante Stephen Martins. O evento contará ainda com a presença do Senador Estadual de Massachusetts (Massachusetts State Senator), Michael J. Rodrigues, e será apresentado por Ricardo Farias.
The community is invited to Voices of Liberty, a free musical festival celebrating the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the United States of America. The event will take place on Sunday, 3/15/2026, at Durfee High School in Fall River.
Doors open at 1:00 PM and the show begins promptly at 2:00 PM. Organizers advise that seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a capacity limited to approximately 750 people.
The festival will feature performances by five musical groups, including members of the 215th Army Band, the Senhora Conceição Mosteirense Band, the Santa Cecília Philarmonic Band, the Santo António Band, and the Nossa Senhora da Luz Band.
The closing will be marked by a historic moment bringing all 156 musicians together on stage for a grand joint finale, under the direction of Commander Stephen Martins. The event will also feature the presence of Massachusetts State Senator Michael J. Rodrigues and will be hosted by Ricardo Farias.
