Shaunna O’Connell foi eleita a 50ª Mayor de Taunton, a primeira mulher a ocupar o cargo.

De acordo com resultados não oficiais, O’Connell obteve 6.695 votos e a vereadora Estele Borges recebeu 3.954 votos.
